Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC): a strategic opportunity for acquiring banks and merchants
By the end of 2023, world tourism had recovered almost 90% of its pre-pandemic levels, leaving promising ground for Latin America and the Caribbean to achieve full recovery by 2024. According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), during 2023 the region received 117 million international tourists, an increase of 12% compared to the figure for 2022, which positions the tourism industry as key to the region’s economy.
