Meet one of our leaders:
ANA LAURA OLMOS is Evertec’s Marketing and Communications Manager for Latin America.
She has more than 14 years of experience in the electronic payments and transactional processing industry as well as in fraud prevention and security areas. She currently leads communications and marketing for the Latin American markets where Evertec operates. Ana Laura has been recognized for her leadership and ability to always integrate local needs with the corporate objectives to better serve both internal and external clients.In her current role, Ana Laura manages a team distributed throughout the region in charge of positioning Evertec in Latin America by developing communications, participating and organizing events that allow sharing of Evertec’s knowledge and experience in the payments business.
Before taking on her current role, she served as Communications and Marketing Manager at PayGroup, a company acquired by Evertec in 2017. Prior to that, she served as content editor for local publications in Uruguay. Ana Laura also participates as a mentor in the women’s edition “Despegate” program, organized by CEDU (Chamber of the Digital Economy of Uruguay), which seeks to empower small and medium businesses by matching them with experts and business leaders.
She completed a master’s degree in Communications Management from the University of Montevideo, and has a Bachelor of Science in Social Communication from the Catholic University of Uruguay.
