Bogotá, Colombia. This initiative, along with others that are being developed jointly, is aimed at enriching the transactional options of members, simplifying access to consultation and use of the resources listed in the plastic for members of the Fund.
The Mobile Wallet solution makes it easy for Compensar affiliates to carry out various transactions through their mobile without having to use their physical card. “With this latest update, the goal is to speed up the adoption of the mobile tool to provide users with a more agile, more secure digital payment experience, and in a more comfortable way. This will provide more control over all their products and immediate access to the multiple benefits they have with partner establishments. It is about making possible a better payment alternative than those that already exist today for Compensar clients,” said Enrique Candanoza, General Manager at Evertec Colombia.
The main benefits for users of this application which have been extended to Compensar affiliates are the following:
- Immediate fund availability
- Transactions at no cost
- Making payments in inhabited businesses through token, QR, and barcode codes
- Visualization of movements of transactions carried out in the wallets and the available balance of each of these
- Transfers between Compensar Card users
- Mobile recharges to all mobile operators in Colombia
- Availability 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
With this new development, Evertec and Compensar maintain and reinforce joint work, implementing initiatives that benefit users. “To Compensar, this is a very important advance on the path towards service digitization, which will make it possible to increasingly facilitate access to resources for our affiliates. In the case of the mobile wallet, we improved the experience of consulting and using the products associated with the Compensar Card, which can now be used immediately through the app,” assured Oscar Mario Ruiz, Director of the Financing and Alliances Unit at Compensar.
