The project officially kicked off in early September and, in just twenty one days, Qonta completed its first live transaction, surpassing Evertec’s internal historical timelines for similar implementations.
Throughout the process, Qonta made relevant adjustments to the initial scope, migrating its card model from prepaid to postpaid. This change required flexibility, fast alignment, and close collaboration between the technical teams, reinforcing the collaborative nature of the delivery.

The solution implemented was the BIN Sponsor model, which allows Qonta to operate payments using Evertec’s regulatory license and infrastructure, without the need for direct brand certification. The platform includes physical and virtual cards, as well as integration with digital wallets such as Google Pay and Apple Pay, providing a robust foundation for B2B companies to create their own payment solutions in an agile, secure, and fully integrated way.
