This security protocol verifies the identity of the cardholder during the online purchase. Upon receiving the authentication request, the system analyzes various parameters such as transaction profile, geolocation and device information to assess the level of risk and thus request additional authentication when necessary to ensure that the transaction is made by the legitimate card owner.
By authenticating the user’s identity in real time, Coocique not only protects its customers against fraud, but also significantly reduces chargebacks, offering peace of mind and confidence to its cardholders when making online purchases.
