We are committed to our communities

We take action to address challenges and support the goals of the communities we serve. Our corporate responsibility program initiatives include:

Educational support

Since 2015, we have established a Scholarship Program for Students in our communities, which includes both the general population (Puerto Rico) and Evertec employees and children of collaborators throughout the region. Scholarships are awarded through agreements with more than 20 educational institutions in Puerto Rico and following an external process that guarantees transparency and trust in the system. In 2020, the initiative was modified to promote gender diversity and greater female participation; as a result, applications from women in courses and disciplines related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics increased significantly the following year.
