Focused on user independence, the new contemplation app was developed with the participation of UX professionals to ensure excellent usability and a user-friendly interface for vehicle consortium members.
As part of an ongoing effort to modernize and streamline internal processes, in 2023, Consórcio Magalu implemented a system migration that significantly improved customer service for consortium members. Now, in partnership with Evertec, the company introduces a new contemplation app for vehicle consortium clients, delivering enhanced customer experience and greater user autonomy.
Previously, the company offered an internally developed application that allowed consortium members to complete self-service processes even without physical branches or representatives. Recognizing the need to provide an even more efficient solution, Consórcio Magalu decided to develop a new application.
“Our challenge was to create a new app that would not only replace the old one, but also deliver a superior experience by integrating new technologies and functionalities,” says Alcione Melo, Credit and Collections Manager at Consórcio Magalu.
Consórcio Magalu’s internal team worked in collaboration with Evertec to develop the new contemplation app with several improvements. UX professionals actively participated in the project to ensure excellent usability. This partnership was essential in creating a solution that perfectly met the needs of Consórcio Magalu customers.
After testing and final adjustments, the new application was made available to all consortium members contemplated in the latest Assembly, with communication carried out through CVM channels.
The new contemplation app
The new app features a user-friendly interface and a more intuitive, easy-to-use design, ensuring a better experience and greater independence for consortium members. In addition, automated validation integrated with vehicle verification systems enables faster responses for customers.
The contemplation process is now fully independent, allowing customers to complete every step directly through the app without needing to visit a physical location.
Reduced processing time was one of the project’s key achievements. The approval and payment process, which previously took an average of seven business days, is now completed in just four days — representing a 57% reduction in total processing time.
Ease of use was also enhanced with an intuitive interface and automated validations, enabling customers to complete the entire process independently from home.
Additionally, technological integration with Serasa PowerCurve — a credit platform and decision engine that brings greater agility, efficiency, and intelligence to credit analysis and approval — and Infocar — a technology solutions company specializing in innovation through a comprehensive vehicle data platform — ensures robust and secure validation of data and documents, minimizing errors and increasing process efficiency.
Alcione reinforces that delivering an efficient and outstanding experience to consortium members is a priority for Consórcio Magalu, which is why investment in innovation is part of the company’s routine. “The new contemplation app is an important milestone in this journey, providing greater autonomy and agility for our customers. Our focus is to continue investing in innovative and efficient solutions for our consortium members to maintain this excellence,” she concludes.
